Co-Owner & Nurse Practitioner

Melissa McCoy, APRN-CNP

Melissa McCoy is a certified family nurse practitioner and co-owner of People Check. She has worked in healthcare since 2012 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing with honors from the University of Cincinnati’s Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2016.

Melissa’s diverse clinical experience has shaped her practical, compassionate approach to supporting patients, employees, and businesses. She provides clinical and operational leadership across People Check’s services, with a focus on accessible care, strong employer partnerships, and a positive experience for everyone who visits the practice. She is committed to expanding convenient healthcare options for individuals, families, and employers throughout Barberton and the surrounding communities.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and spoiling her dog, Poppy.

Co-Owner & Director of Business Development

Eric McCoy

Eric McCoy is co-owner and Director of Business Development for People Check. A graduate of Kent State University, he brings more than 30 years of experience in business, finance, and management, with an emphasis on profitability, business development, and organizational growth.

Eric focuses on strengthening employer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the continued growth of People Check while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Outside of the office, Eric is an accomplished Scottish drummer who has performed and competed internationally. He has been playing since the age of six and continues to enjoy both solo and band competition.

Nurse Practitioner & Registered Radiologic Technologist

Kirsten Davis, APRN-CNP, R.T.(R)(ARRT)

Kirsten Davis is a certified nurse practitioner and registered radiologic technologist who provides Direct Primary Care, occupational health, and weight-management services at People Check. Her combined clinical and radiology background allows her to offer patients and employers convenient, coordinated care in one location.

Kirsten’s experience includes primary care, workplace injury management, and diagnostic x-ray services. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and creating an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and taking an active role in their health.

Through People Check’s Direct Primary Care program, Kirsten provides accessible, personalized care focused on prevention, ongoing health needs, and timely support.

Office Manager & Employer Services Coordinator

Dawn Rich

Dawn Rich is People Check’s Office Manager and Employer Services Coordinator. With more than 20 years of experience with the practice, she brings extensive knowledge of its services, clients, and day-to-day operations.

Dawn is a primary point of contact for many of People Check’s employer partners. She helps businesses coordinate services, resolve questions, and navigate occupational health and compliance needs. Her experience, reliability, and familiarity with longtime clients make her an important part of both the People Check team and the customer experience.

Assistant Office Manager

Abriana “Bri” Dolan

Abriana “Bri” Dolan serves as Assistant Office Manager at People Check, supporting front-office operations, customer service, scheduling, and administrative needs. She works closely with Dawn and helps ensure that employer representatives, patients, and walk-in customers receive clear information and friendly, efficient assistance.

Bri is often one of the first people customers encounter when contacting or visiting People Check. Her approachable manner and attention to detail help keep the office organized and create a welcoming experience for the people and businesses the practice serves.

People Check also owns and operates Austin Primary Care, a traditional insurance-based primary care practice located in Suite G on the same Barberton campus.
